Prompt

Make a habit tracker for reading, showing the last 30 days. Make it a single HTML file that opens in a browser with nothing to install and no other files. Put the CSS and JavaScript inside it. Do not use image files or any external address; use emoji or letters if you need a symbol.

A row of squares, one per day. Clicking today's square marks it done. Filled squares are the point, so make them satisfying to look at.

Show the current streak and the longest streak. Do not break the streak for a single missed day — say "one missed" and keep going. A tracker that punishes you for one bad day gets closed and never opened again.

Let me add more than one habit, each with its own row.

Everything I enter stays after the browser is closed and reopened, and none of it leaves my browser.

When you are done, check that yesterday can still be ticked but tomorrow cannot.

What it uses: One file only · Say what it is first · Decide what shows · Pin down what not to do

If a missed day resets everything, ask it to "allow one gap before the streak breaks".
