Make a repeating pattern of circles, evenly spaced. Make it a single HTML file that opens in a browser with nothing to install and no other files. Put the CSS and JavaScript inside it. Do not use image files or any external address; use emoji or letters if you need a symbol. The pattern fills the whole page. Sliders for size, spacing, rotation, and two colours. The pattern has to actually tile — the right edge must line up with the left, and the bottom with the top. A pattern with a visible seam is not a pattern. Add a "randomise" button and a download button that saves one tile, so it can be used as a repeating background elsewhere. When you are done, put two copies of the tile side by side in your head and check the join is invisible.
