Terms of Service
What to know before using Bzzdex.
This is a translation. If it differs from the Korean original, the Korean text governs.
1. About these terms
Bzzdex ("the service") is operated by Coding Teading. These terms are the agreement between you and the operator.
Creating an account means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, simply do not create an account.
2. What the service does
Paste code an AI wrote for you and the service gives you a web address. Anyone with that address can open the result.
You can also publish your app to the Hive. Published apps receive a dex number.
The service is free and funded by advertising. Because you pay nothing, the service does not come with the guarantees of a paid product.
3. Your account
Accounts are created with Google sign-in only. The service never receives or stores a password of yours.
- You must be 14 or older to create an account.
- Your account is yours alone. Do not transfer or lend it.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings. There is a 30-day grace period, and signing in again during it cancels the deletion.
4. Who owns what you upload
The code and apps you upload remain yours. The operator claims no ownership.
To run the service, we need to store them, serve them to people who request them, and — if you publish — show the title, dex number and a preview image in the Hive and the Gallery. You grant permission for that use only.
Published apps also appear in the Gallery (bzzdex.com). For this, the operator takes a phone-sized picture of the app’s first screen and shows it as a preview, with the title and dex number, in the Gallery and the Hive. We take a new picture when the app changes, and stop showing it when you make the app private or delete it.
This permission exists to operate the service, and it ends when you delete the app. The preview image is deleted along with it.
5. What you must not do
Apps that do any of the following may be blocked, and accounts suspended, without prior notice.
- Impersonating another site, organisation, or person, including imitating a sign-in screen.
- Collecting other people’s sensitive information such as passwords, card numbers, or national ID numbers.
- Anything unlawful or harmful to others.
- Uploading other people’s work without the right to do so.
- Mining cryptocurrency without the visitor’s knowledge, or using a visitor’s device or connection against their wishes.
- Publishing in bulk by automated means, or using the service in a way that places an unreasonable load on it.
6. App addresses
App addresses are eight characters, generated automatically. You cannot choose your own, because a chosen address is itself a tool for impersonation.
When you delete an app, its address is retired permanently and never reused, so that an old link can never lead to someone else’s app.
7. Scanning and reports
Uploaded code is scanned automatically. If enough risk signals appear, publication may be delayed until a person reviews it, or the app may be blocked.
Anyone can report an app without signing in. Reports are reviewed and acted on.
If you believe a block was wrong, write to the address below and we will look again.
8. The service may change or end
Because the service is free, features may change, limits may be introduced, or the service may close.
If the service closes, we will give notice on the site at least 30 days beforehand and explain how to download what you have uploaded.
Maintenance or faults may make the service briefly unavailable.
9. Limits of responsibility
The service is provided as it is. The operator does not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Keep your own copy of anything important. Do not rely on this service as your only storage.
Each app is the responsibility of the person who uploaded it. The operator does not review every app in advance.
Except where caused by the operator’s intent or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here reduces liability that the law does not allow to be reduced.
10. Advertising
Advertising may appear on the service’s own pages to cover running costs.
The operator does not place advertising inside the apps you upload.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first. If it cannot be settled, it may be brought before the court determined under Korean civil procedure law.
12. Changes to these terms
We will announce changes on the service beforehand. Changes that disadvantage you will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
Continuing to use the service after the announcement means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, you may delete your account.
